Many of us in the Detroit Cannabis Community are making the Good Neighbor Promise, to keep clean corridors and the area around our buildings clear of litter throughout 2022. We are committing resources for clean-up and beautification projects organized by a block club, nonprofit, church, or small businesses in the cannabis zoned neighborhoods of Detroit. Our goal is to adopt at least four blocks this summer. What’s that adoption include? Clean up, beautification project(s) and/or a block party for each block selected. Adopted blocks will receive up to 25K for Neighborhood beautification projects of their choice. You can nominate your block April 1, 2022 we will announce adopted blocks June 10, 2022.

For your block to qualify for adoption: 75% of the block’s homeowners must agree on Beautification projects for their block. Your block must be in one of Detroit’s cannabis friendly zones or less than a mile away from a licensed cannabis establishment. Organizers can verify Zoning via this map provided by the City of Detroit
